i did add tne with your program and i flasher the phone u know what happn ........i killed my phone the flash was 2.87 m so i killed my phone and body can help me and sent to me 5110 full flash not from 20000 to 40000 put 20000 to 50000 !!!!!!!!!!!!! can any dody help

if ur eeprom part is still intact u can still recover the phone. what version is it. 5110v??? rev ???

Hi Housin!

I took a look into a friend's 5110. I just found the Static RAM (256kbits) and the (Flash-)EEPROM (8Mbits). Theres also the serial EEPROM (64kbits).
If u flashed behin $300000 so what did u overwrite?
Think u just tried to write to a not writeable memory region.

Did u already flash all the way starting at $200000?
The phone should come on after this.
I also studied the circuit diagrams and there's no spot on any other memory mapping.
I/O is below $200000 as well as the RAM.

I can imagine just opne thing: region behind $300000 is mirrored
to $000000. Then u really f*cked yo phone. I dont know how to read the region from $0-$200000.
Did anybody try to read those locations? R the results reproduceable?
If that's possible mabye you can reincarnate your phone again with a "full-"fullflash...

You have to restore fullflash from 200000 to 400000. You don't have fuk*ed your phone because area after 3000000 is mirrored from 2000000! Really!!!

Hi!

If it#s really mirrored then just flash it to the original adress... If u write behin $300000 then u physically overwrite $200000 again. So if u flash again from $200k-$300k everything should be fine. Just try!

Hmm u say u flashed from $200k-$500k?
2,5 times the original flash file then?

Since the new phones have memory mapped from $200k to $600k
(then incl. emulated E2P of course). Why dont u flash a working backup 3times from $200k?
BEfore u do u should try to read from $200k-$600k and compare locations at 200,300,400,500,600 to see whether they r really mirrored. Usually mirroring ist not physical appearance just mirrored as the word says. If they have strange tables (mirror from $200-$380k to $400k for example u can overwrite the mirrored area and physically write to $200k again with some scrap.

Rite now i just canb say: Make a backup of all region u can read and try to flash to different locations with different length.
