Hi all

I have got a 6230 with a cark 126, all was working fine until I noticed that my phone wasn't charging when in the cradle, so I looked a bit closer only to find that the lead (scu-4) is damaged.

Anyway I need to replace this lead asap, anyone have any ideas where I can get 1 from ? and how much it will cost me.

Thanks in advance

I have the CK-7W BT car kit in my car, and have just got a 6230, and the Nokia holder for this is coming tomorrow. I am currently trying out the battery life of the phone connected to both the car kit and the BT headset so if it seems to last well, I have a cable that came with the kit you could have. Try www.mobilefun.co.uk as they do allot of genuine accessories, so they may be able to help.

I had the same problem with my car kit, went to the carphone warehouse and they were able to order the system lead for me, try them and you shouldn't have a problem. They will supply you with the latest system lead, the one with the button on it, and not the push in lead that comes with the car kit 126, it is a lot better and works fine

the 1 with the button on it , is that the same as the 1 that comes in the bluetooth car kit, ck7w ???

Yeah, the system cable (SCU-4) that comes with the car kit 126 seems to have been replaced with the system cable (CA-27) that comes with the CK-7W car kit, that is the one with the button. I have tried it on a couple of 126 kits and it seems to work fine.

weird

I tried my m8's 1 from the ck-7w kit and it puts my phone into loop (earpeice type thing) mode and won't do anything.

Have to turn phone off even after I unplug it to get it back to normal.

Does same thing if I plug the cable direct into the phone or if I connect throught the cradle :(
