Hi all. I got myself a usb data cable for my e700 which came with a copy of downloader v3.3. The problem is that before i figured out exactly what the software was for, i accidentally formatted the NVRAM. After doing this the phone wouldnt turn on.

What is actually stored into the NVRAM?

So i got a copy of the firmware off the net and re-wrote the flash to see if that would fix it. it did but now i have a problem where the phone wont charge unless it is plugged into the usb cable (wont charge if plugged into mains charger or car charger) and the battery indicator always indicates full.

also when i plug the usb cable in it doesnt indicate that the phone is charging and then as soon as i remove the cable it indicates its charging for about a minuite and then tells me its fully charged.

i have flashed the phone with heaps of different firmware versions and still no joy.

Hmm does all this make sense? anyhow any help would be much appreciated.

Does anyone have a copy of the australian release firmware?
