I recently had my LG 8110 stolen so I'm reverting back to my trusty 3210 for the time being.
It is locked to Orange and I want to put an O2 genie sim in it. I put in the code as instructed in your articles and it came up with the message "sim not restricted" which I'm guessing should have done the job but when I put in the O2 sim it still says "sim card not accepted"
can anyone shed any light on this situation please?
thanks people

Yes it is the place where to use the GID1 code to have a second code to fully unlock your phone.
But I cannot help you which one to use, for many networks the choice is clearer.
