Hi
Can any one please help me out in unlocking my Nokia 3100b, IMEI # is 352509004178202, locked by AT&T Wireless US. I'd tried several combinations available online but none of them worked. Since I was not aware that I can only try five times in a row I'd done that and now, whenever I put the New SIM i want to use it says "Phone restriced" and an option to "undo" when I click "undo" it gives me option to "Enter restriction code: " and when I put any combination its says "Phone restricted" again but this time it doesn't give the "undo" option.
I need to switch off the phone and then switch it on and then only I can try other combination. But earlier I'd tried several (may be 5 or less or more)combinations without switching it off.
Can anybody Please help me in unlocking it without connecting any type of cable.
I'll be very thankful.

Sorry to say but cable is the only solution left if youve used your 5 tries wrongly :-(

Hi Fu,

But then one should be bold enough too face the truth rather then live in a Fictitious Circle 8-)

Well, when we say "cable unlocking"... it's not just a cable (indeed I think the expression must be changed, because it leads to confussions). You need a cable -and- a box. Without a box, there's nothing that can be done (well, someone said once here that he managed to unlock with a cable alone, but never explained how...).

A box is too expensive for just one handset -it costs something like 400 Euro for a Griffin Platinum-. You can check prices at the link at top of page to ucables.com. But, the usual advice is try to find a small repair shop near you, which will charge you a small fee (max 30usd) for flashing the phone.

Unfortunately, your wise friend screwed up this time.

Best regards
