NO! Not all or even most N-gage games will work on a 6630. Either a color problem, use other apps just 2 get them 2 work or just won't work @ all. That's why you'll be better off buying an N-gage/N-gage QD. :-)

So far it seems that only certain games work but some definately do, I'm not sure which ones do or don't but I'll be trying some in the next few days and I'll post the results.

Why would you ask such a question?

If you want to play the N-Gage games, get a N-Gage or N-Gage QD. No problems.

If you get a 6630, don't except to play any of the N-Gage games. If you can ... you got lucky :lol:

nk_au - I was shocked too, I tried it since I remembered it definately was one of the messed up ones and since I didn't need to use the # button with Sonic I had to try other games just to see.

Pathway won't be getting tried for a long, long time. At the moment i've only got a 32Mb and a 64Mb card and the 64Mb is half full so there's no space. I hope it doesn't take too long for 512Mb dvrsmmcs to arrive.

i think you noticed that the so called n-gage games actually work on some other phones,so it's totally natural that people that can't afford two cells (if i got enough money i buy an n-gage in addiction to my 7610 to end all the 'struggles')ask questions on compatibility.if N-gage games never ran on other phones sure all this fuzz never saw the light(hey Blizzard!shame on you for starting all! :razz: ).and i'm not trying to defend anyone,i'm just tired of reading replies like the one you posted before.if you read the thread name you know what is be debating inside of it.so if it's boring to you simply do not read! :wink:

Then it would support SD, MMC, RS-MMC (with adaptor), DV RS-MMC (with adaptor on 3V) and maybe miniSD (does it have an adaptor?)?

With nothing running my ngage sits at about 10.5Mb free out of 12Mb, my 6630 runs at about 7.5Mb free and since it probably takes more ram to power the new, more detailed menus (as it does to use themes) it's almost certainly 10Mb in total. Quite agree with u...

No doubt about that, 6630 has a 10MB of RAM, go to ofline mode, switch to default theme, run app manager, close all aplication, kill all unused process (application which work in full background mode) then choose compres memory in app man and u will get more then 8 MB of free memory ;)

bah 6600 have even more ram than 6630:/ why can`t the stupid nokia people make a phone with more power eks then it will come more cooler symbian games more emulator`s and that stuff since they get hand`s on that s60 phone`s can run n-gage games they have been tights on the ram on the new phone`s just look at the ram on 7610 and 6630

Did u solve the problem with Tiger!?

Try to remove them completly with all libaries than install them again, and free up as much RAM as u can, if u dont know how, read Free up mem guide (http://www.symbian-freak.com/quides/freeupmem.htm) than run the Tiger it must work...

Yesterday i tested ALL of N-gage games on my 6630, every game i tested has a same chance to work (free memory more than 9.5MB, clean libs and programs folder on my mmc, no any kind of apps installed (except AppMan, FExplorer and blzinstapp) so in other words clean install every time). I tested it on my 6630 which is TIM mobile phone with 64MB DVRSMMC from NOKIA (V 2.39.15, 11-11-04, RM-1). So this is the list!

100% WORKING

Bomberman (with 6600 libs fix)
King Of Fighters Extreme (with 6600 fix witch change the 6R33.APP file)

V3.45.110 02-12-04 RM-1 if that means anything, and all i did was do a install of bomberman, played it then installed tiger woods, there was no sound, but if u go to options, reset data the sound works

Yes i tried everything but it dosent work. Very important thing is what is in those directorys, and wich FW u have is (i think) very important too. For example when i install psiloc vision some of games wont work.

Pathway to glory running on my 6630 with correct colours as I write this reply. At least the first mission seems to run ok.

how do you get 6630 to run operation shadow? i have the same firmware but it is just the splash screen and then my phone reboot.btw got it to run just needed a clean install:D
