Hey friend, I'm only the graphical "Admin".

But as far as I know, there a a graphic-table, about 21 times in the MCU.
U must find out the right, and change the bytes of the anim leghth, but I'm not sure. Better open a new thread so that all will see your question or maybe Mr. NokDoc can answer U with Ur question.

i really appreciate your Hardwork guys. Trust me, u have done a wonderful job in your modified flash file. Keep it up :)

But i was unable to find few features in your flash file, like

- 18 Frames Startup Animation logo
- Screen refresh while the net/bat logos remain
- Nokiafree menu

where can i find these features or rather how can i find these features ?

Also i'am keen intrested to know how you people made MCU Dead ?. I really want to learn this particular thing on how to make a Dead MCU. The reason i want to learn is that when i took backup of your flash file, the first error i got in rolis was " Mobile Choose is Wrong ", still backup was going on, as the backup was completed another error features " Checksums are bad, please check.... ". I want to make my flash files in the same way so that other people dont copy my flash files. So, can u experts teach me how to do that ?

Take logomanager and set to standard startuplogo, and enable the netmon on engineering.

That what U've seen with "ProjectX" is my work.
That what U see with "ProjectZ" is -=[da Pr0j3ct-Z- Cr3w]=- work.

So X is nothing in difference to Z!
In ProjectX most mainframe Phone types will be supported!

How did you do the dead mcu check? I understand what it is ( i think, dosn't care if checksums wrong), what offset would this be for a 8250 v 5.06? and do you know if its possible to do this for faid?

What did U try to calculate with Jordik?
I don`t know the prog, but for calc FAID use KNOK "quickset faid".
No MCU or other calc is recommended.

So just flash it and calc the faid, don't calc anything other!

To enable all menus U must use Netmonitor (engineering).

It is possible to kill the MCU chk for all DCT-3 phones. (but not 3410 yet, 6210 I don't know)

Soon this secret will be go public (I must ask first some people before I'm allowed to).

anyways, i haven't found out yet how to do that... i even thought that by changing the *#0000#, it will kill the mcu checksum...

i even compared Project Z with a clean 3310 v5.57B flash file in Hex Workshop (copy/paste) but it gave me headaches! :confused: :confused: :confused:

i'm not successful.

I also try that, i also found out there is a few place which point to those checksum address have been changed to 0x0200022, that's the first mcu chekcsum address i think, but i didn't success have it work on other model flash file.

Should be something have be change that i don't know..

- add My country languaged

by the way i still put the Nokdoc-Enzo and Radacid name on this flash file, the real Creator.

any body who wanna make any modification (removed the Dead MCU), Just Used Hexedit/hexworkshop, but dont forget the real creator of this Flash Mod (-=[da Pr0j3ct -Z- Cr3w]=-)

Dead just 'disables' the mcu chk function!

Modify whatever U like, U never have to calc mcu on this file again.

Only still do use ppm manager to recalc the flash checksum afterwards then!

Btw, Error messages for Dead are not due to the Z-file but the tools that tells them U! :p

Can you please teach us how to make mcu dead, I have change all the pointer to 200022, but software didn't show mcu chekcsum "dead" like your modified flash file.

I tried your projectz 3310 and it was superb. I edit the startup animation and return to handshaking (6510) for the seven frames, Of course the name of the creator are still there. They suppose to have the credit.

Just downloaded projectz for 3210.

Why don`t U try to do Ur own MOD?
(Don`t ask me about PPMEdit, please. Just try, don`t ask.)

Normally U can edit the ringtones and Fonts.
But not the Graphics! They R in a other offset, that PPMEdit can read but not write (I think)

i already tried but i can't modify the graphics. not so much with the graphics that i'm concerned about, it's the text that i wanted to modify (like menu, unlock, select, etc). i also tried replacing these words but when i flashed it there are no letters at all.

enzo is right! you cannot modify the mod with ppmedit. I only use pppmedit to check/view (sorry tnp there are a lot&free of ways to make mod) what's new in this mod. :) :) :)

ive done it in 3310, just export and import using 2 flash file (5510 & my 3310) and using Hexgraph.

use Nokia Tool by Jordik, click select all, then click make selected and finally click s/w reset. that should eliminate the error. :rolleyes:

How can remove the dead MCU in hexeditor?? I tried to find the hex value DEAD. It dsplay 4 address.. Can i delete those dead value in the 4 adress??

You can't use ppmedit 1.0a for projectZ for writing, only for reading-re-read this thread from the beginning...

1. you have to ask permission from the makers of projectz before you could modify them.

2. post a reply to me if you already have the permission.

@bencnix,

dont used PPMedit to edit (specially the crack version) since it's still buggy. just used PPM edit to preview not to edit, anyway it was not from the dead MCU.

ProjectZ is de Best Project, thanks to the creator for their hard worked.

By theway If you wanna edit the ProjectZ, used:
- Hex workshop editor
- Hexgraph

try with your creativity, more you lern... more you will get...

it is really very easy to modify PROJECTZ using some software but i hope that the people behind PROJECTZ would share to us how to do those complicated modifications from a fresh flash file.

using PPMEdit1.0h, FLSEdit0.3, g3n0lite v1.7b, etc you can EDIT PROJECTZ but how to do that using Hex editor is a mystery...

i hope the guys behind PROJECTZ would SHARE their TALENTS.
