Ok maybee some of ytou guys read one of Nokdocs threads about increasing the OTA logos (SMS Pictures)

Well here is the finished product ;)
Another script from Me and Nokdoc
(Big thanks to Nokdoc for all the hardwork)

Mtonez = 5 > 10
Mlogoz = 11 > 16

due to us stealing this memory for these extra tonez and logoz you unfortunatly loose half of the phonebook 250 > 113

This patch will only work on 8210 v5.31
Also the flash needs to be a full backup!!
so MCU + PPM + EEPROM
(0x200000 - 0x400000)

Some words of warning before using this patch:

This patch restructures the Eeprom on your phone it reads data and also writes the data back in a different order.
I would suggest patching this to your original flash alone and then flashing to your phone and reading back the MCU+PPM for use with nokix

Also this patch will delete all phonebook entries after 113 so if you are using alot of your phones memory for phonebook I would try moving as many as you can to your sim or deleting some entries

lastly a small disclaimer:

I will not take any responsibility for loss of data to your eeprom
My advise: make sure you have a good FUBU just in case you get problems

Any bugs please post here

regards,
Danny

File descriptions:
Mtonez+Mlogoz.nrx.txt
This is the script remember to rename this to Mtonez+Mlogoz.nrx when saving

dump_8210_phonebook.nrx.txt
This is a dumper I created that will dump all the phonebook entries from your eeprom
Each line is a new phonebook entry ;)
remember to rename this to dump_8210_phonebook.nrx when saving

At this time no

The reason why it was possible on the 8210 was because of the phonebook
The 3310 has no phonebook in the eeprom.
Nokdoc has some ideas for the 3310 so cross your fingers ;)

Danny

Hi,

Yep, cool mod Dan.

Inventive to use eeprom this way.

Pity we choose a wrong subject, people not seem to want more logos or tones.

I am sorry Mr. Newknaber, I guess I spend my time on better mods now.

... at least the ones hanging around this place

where i live people used to waste a lot of money to get tones and logos via sms sites (don't know if they still do because of new color phones)

congrats m8's any improvement is always a step forward

cheers

3310 has voice tags in eeprom. What about using that place? I personnaly, don't use that function at all.

Any idea as to how much space these things use up??
One SMS picture message uses 190H B
So to add extras you need multiples of 190

I think I will take a look ;)
