Here is a solution for U....
with Mbus cable and eeprom tools 4.0 run a test...U will get a point..if software says all ok..reheat COBBA chip...works in 90% of the cases...
Good luck!

Hi,
First of all, you should tell us if your phone fails due to a fall or merely one day could not connect to the network.
Look at the voltage that feed the COBBA. It must be 2,7v. Test if the condensator C207, C209 and C210 work. Check if the biband filters Z500 and Z501 are broken.
If you see that that COBBA works, try to see if the oscillator works. To check it, take an osciloscope and try to watch a perfect 13Mhz sine wave. Some times, if the oscilator doesnt work, its impossible for the phone to place in its frecuency.
regards.

Then your problem is that with the battery completely full, it works, but when a bar get consume, the phone lose the network, isn't it? Its a strange problem. Have you reheat the COBBA and PA??? Try to inform us things you have done so far.

some people think that it is very easy to replace a CCONT, or any BGA...
the truth is that it is very hard to replace a BGA that is removed from another phone, the ONLY way you can make sure its going to work is to use a new CCONT...
i think that your CCONT is not seated properly, when you removed it from the other phone maybe some of the balls were left on the PCB...
like i say, its VERY hard to do yourself
G
probably moved some other components on the board too, much practice is required for replace uBGA IC :-P

mod is right, its not easy replacing CCOnt .. but if your talented enaf and have the proper tools you can try it.. anyway damaging your 3310 wont hurt that much:-D , just be careful on managing the twiser for you not to damage some resistor and diods around . .
