Nokia 6630 self restart???

Hi,

I was so irrititated with my Nokia 6630. Why is it that it restarts abruptly? Is there any software/hardware available so that I can upgrade/patch this problem. Thanks.

Have you tried formatting your 6630? (Does it work? The 3-key format ... hold Green * 3 while phone is starting up ...)

Beware ... formatting wipes your data :D

no, i never did...im just wondering why is it keep on restarting....it happened 5x a day..whats the 3 key format? Thanks.

My 6630 has restarted itself once or twice but nowhere near as often as you describe, since the phone is pretty new it is very doubtful that new firmware is out and even if it is the nsc takes ages to get it sometimes. It'll probably be another couple of months at least till we see new firmware.

Just out of interest what are your firmware details? Mines are

i have simillar problem when install mosquitos v2.0, after uninstall mosq. everything is ok.Try uninstall some last installed apps on the phone.

Believe me, I tried loads of things, nothing helped.
