Are you absolutely certain that that 3GP file was recorded by a Nokia phone?

Yes, the *.3gp file extension is used by mobile phone video recording ... but Nokia isn't the only one using it.
I know this, cause my mate uses a SE K700i ... and he sends his vids to my 7610 through bluetooth sometimes :D

Hi..

well i dunno for sure.. i got the file of a file sharing network.. so i guess it may have been a converted file.. but my question is that how can you make 3gp files with larger pixels.. :???:

the file i was referring to has a resolution of 640 X 480..

There is a fujitsu phone that's only available in Japan that runs on a proprietary operating system but is based around symbian and it can take videos at a higher res but I think it was only around 240x180 or there-abouts.

Humm.. .Well guys thanks for the links.. but i've tried everything.. and none of the apps available commercially support resolution than 240 X 180..

And anyway.. the larger the resolutoin of the movie, the slower the phone gets :p

Cheers
