problem with my new noka 6630

hi all i just got 6630 but i think it has a problem which is when i power on the phone the keypad lights come on and when it's booted thay don't i can press any button and the keypad lights don't come on is there a seting for this or is it a folt :???:

On the top right corner, just above the screen, there's a light sensor.
If there's light, the keypad lights dont light up, to save up battery; if its dark they do. Try holding your finger over the sensor :D
There isnt an option as far as i can tell to change that.
