hi guys ! Im new to this , I tried the online Calc. but it doesn`t work !
I wonder what I did wrong !

can anyone help me please ??

btw after i put the code in , it write 'phone restricted' right the way ! does this mean I can no longer unlock the phone with codes?
doe sthis mean I have to use cable to fix this problem ?? if so , can anyone show me how or where to get the info .
I need technical support ..... help please !

phone restricted says it is not unlocked, cannot undo restriction means the 5 tries are used up

your settings for the calc should be

ASIC 2 for phone type

asic 6 for gen (shows box serial 32821)

use code 1 or 7 only

I'm sure there is a long thread on here about unlocking these

will the phone be locked if , i try 4 times , turn phone off , back on and enter a wrong code again ?

my phone is setted in french , does " impossible anuler restricsion" . <<-- does this mean it is on hard lock now ?

I think there is a lots of confusion about 3220 codes, I personally have two 3220, and I have unlocked both after spending 3-4 hours web browsing last week. (now i think the cost of the time is really costing more than geting it paid for unlock)
anyway, the Code for unlock is either original, asic 6 or v2 depending on which area you live in.
For Rogers users in Vancouver, I suggest you use original as that worked for me.

Yes with 'impossible annuler restriction" it is hard locked.
No matter if you turn off your phone, it is a legend, there 5 attemps and that's all.
By miracle sometimes more than 5, but only by miracle (or a mistake by Nokia)!

Of course all's true !
I have no experience on unloking by cable but there lots of info on this forum
A cable costs few dollars as you say around 15 - 30 $.
It is hard locked, even rogers will not unlock by code.
You can try a shop to unlok, more or less same price than a cable price
