I have a map with the *.prm extension...what can I do with this?!If I paste the map in the root of my MMC, will this extension be recognize by my 6600?Is it the extension of the route66 app?
What isn't it a *.sis extension?Is it normal?Thanx guyz to respond before I paste it!!...

Hi,

As you have already said it is indeed a map for Route66. It isn't a .SIS file as it doesnt need installing specifically.
What you need to do is install Route66 which will add some folders to your MMC, inside on of these folders will be a maps folder. It is in here where you will need to paste the .PRM file for Route66 to register it as a map.

If you keep it or not depends on if you want SatNav on your phone and have a bluetooth GPS Receiver to work with the software.

P.S. Both Route66 and TomTom are great apps if you need satnav at any time.

ok so what I've to do is to paste the .prm file into the map folder and it will be recognize...Thanx for your help Coolice you're great!

Yeah thats it mate, just paste into the maps folder for Route66 to pick it up.
