6820 dropped in water

:-oHello everyone, im after some advice, couple of days ago my phone was dropped in bowl of water, so i have left it dry and when i switch it back on the pad lights up but the screen doesnt but you can see the info on the screen.

i got ambushed onces by some mates with water pistols while i was using my phone.. and needless to say it got completely screwed up,,

screen went messed up and half the buttons didnt work at all or got jammed. BUT over time, (3 or 4 days) it started to work again, slowly, like one button would work again, then another, and the screen came back.

That was my experience, so i guess just leave it a while see what happens.

Some water has minerals in that actually corrodes the components in the phone, so it would probably be a good idea to open the phone up and completely dry out all the inside stuff before you use it again, may be too late now.

That was my experience anyway, dunno if it helps.
