Hi There

I have been using Nokia 6600 for one year now. I am not satisfied with its performance through out my usage. I have got the replacements at least four times. It is on Vodafone UK netowork.

The problems time to time I had were, it missed the reminders couple of times and then startup problems. Some times I was unable to go to menus (menu Key not working) etc etc.
Once I was unable to delete one application as it was saying application is being used by some program. Bla blab la.

Now the latest problem I have with the latest phone is, after restoring the phone from my memory card, I switched it off one night. In the morning when I switched it on, it said Startup Application Error. The startup music and nokia logo was interrupted every time I switch it on.

I have done the master reset a number of times (*#7370#) and it works fine then. When I restore data from memory card it does not give me problem but after switching it off and then on after restoration, it gives me same trouble.

I m now sick of this Nokia 6600 problems. Will appreciate if any body could help me.

Although I m nokia customer since I started using mobile phone (10 years now), but now I m thinking to switch to any other manufacturer.

Any advice or help will highly be appreciated.

Have you tried this: without mem card in press and hold 3,*,green answer key and whilst still holding press power button.It will then appear on screen formatting.This has solved this problem for me on a number of these phones.

Thanks for the reply but unluckily this has not worked. the problem is still there. I formatted the phone, then restored from mory card. Switched it off and then On again. The same old irritating message App. Closed Startup
