View Full Version : Nokia 7610/6600 send any file?

IS there a way to send any file, from the Nokia 7610?, I am trying to send a midi file , via multiamedia, but it says file protected can not send!! eh.. there must be a way around this... any ideas?

same problems. all other mobiles motorola etc. can send files, buut i cant on my 7610.. this is stupid.. help us.

Use your file-explorer and delete the extension of the file you want to send, i.e., ringer.mid --> ringer. When you have sent it then add the extension with the other phone.

This is the same for .sis files. You can delete the extension but the receiving phone can install the app without you adding the extension on after the file has been sent.

Why would anyone bother doing that anymore when profixplorer works so well and is free?
