Where to enter my unlocking code in my Panasonic X60

Hello guys,
I need some help here as I cannot unlock my Panasonic X60 which is locked to Vodafone UK. I purchased the unlocking code for this mob from http://www.irwebonline.com/acatalog/Unlock_Vodafone_Panasonic_X60_Remote_Unlock_948.html

I was given an 8-digit code to unlock my X60 based on my IMEI but I can't make it work! Where do I have to enter this code and how? What about any *,# etc? I only have 8 numbers....can anyone tell me the format to enter this code?

you paid £20 when mob453 and remoteunlocker offer the same thing for less? :eek:

just spoke to both mob453 and remoteunlocker, they dont know how to enter the code either, they would get instructions from their supplier, they've suggested emailing irwebonline to find out for you or ask for a refund and get it cheaper elsewhere.

The reason I paid the 20 pounds was because it was the only site I found offering the unlock method without the need of a cable.....but it seems that it is a fraud! I e-mailed them but I got no response....I will try to contact them for a refund.

Meanwhile if you find anything on how to use that code please let me know.

I've the same problem, with the Panasonic G51. I only know you've enter '**00012*12345678#' where '1-8' is based on your imei-code. I tried this method so many times, but without success. The phone gives an error, after I entered the code. Can you help me out with this problem?

I take no responsibility if you lock your phone using the method below.

To unlock the G51:

1) Power on Phone ( without SIM in handset )

2) Type in **00012*00000000#

3) You will get "Invalid Password" or similar, press "Ok"

4) Repeat 2 & 3 several times until you get "Phone blocked" or similar

5) Type in **00032*00000000#

6) You will get "Invalid Password" or similar, press "Ok"

7) Repeat 5 & 6 several times until you get "Phone blocked" or similar

Phone is now unlocked, insert your chosen SIM and power on to use
