Right if you have not done so, you need to go to your support page, you should have been informed what it is when you bought the product. Then login, go to the section "activation" or somthing similar.

Once you've done that you will be required to enter the serial number (printed on the box) and your email and select teh type of software.

And it will give you your activation key.

Well, you have to look at the old case. If the windows sticker on it say OEM Windows, you are out of luck. OEM licenses do not transfer from computer to computer, even if you have "most of your parts". A motherboard is considered a new computer, as far as microsoft is concerned.
