Orange say they will not sell Nokia 6630 to users without 3G tarriffs, because they claim that whenever 3G is available on their network, the 6630 will use 3G, and create huge bills to non 3G tarriff users because of expensive out of bundle 3G charges.
I find it hard to believe that this phone cannot be set to operate on 2.5G (GSM and GPRS) only.
Are Orange correct?
Or can I configure it to work within my tarriff limits?
