I have an AT&T phone bought in the US but moved to Europe. I have succesfully unlocked my phone but it will still not allow my local network (Mobistar) to be set. Is there another restriction or simlock from At&t on this phone that can be unlocked so I can use my own simcard from Mobistar on this phone? When I manually search the network it doesnt even pop up.
Thanks,
Luka

usa networks use different frequencies to Europe, maybe the phone does not support 900/1800 hz

I recently wen´t on holidays from Argentina to Brazil (different frequencies), with my gfriend. I went with my modest nokia 1100b (here in Brasil they use 1100a), and my girlfriend brought her f%$#ing gorgeus 6600. Mine didn´t detect the network, but her, since is a tri-band phone, detected the network but didn´t connected to it, logically, since we still hadn´t the operator´s SIM.
So, if you´re phone is not detecting any network, it´s either broken... or searching on a diff frequency. That has no way to fix. Gotta get a new phone.
By the way, can anybody tell me what do you think about the ngage???
Thanks in advance!
