hmm... I have done it once with Oxygen Phone Manager.... save your message to disk and then edit the file in hex... and after that save it as message to SIM card...

instruction step by step:
to change text of message in inbox or the sender number you have to use Oxygen Phone Manager... I'm using OPM ver 2.1 and nokia 3310 phone...
in OPM i select message i'd like to edit and save it to disk. it saves it in .osm format:
when you open the file in hex you'll see text: "Oxygen Software SMS. v3." and then some chars...
if you want to change the sender number just change bytes 119-130 - it's phone number ;)
if you want to change the text of message you have to edit bytes 131+. I suppose the text is unicode with changed bytes (for example in unicode A = 0041 ; here we have A = 4100).
after the message text there is the message centre number and the last 4 bytes are "00 00 00 00".
IMPORTANT: if you change the number of chars in the message you have to change 113 byte too (this is some kind of check sum - it is the number of chars in hex).
i suppose the date is saved somewhere in 54-61 bytes but i don't know how to change the date to the date i'd like....
it is not any SIM modification so if you'd like to do this by cloning and editing your SIM card, i can't help you... but it's one way to solve this problem....
PS. it requires nokia dct3 phone so if you don't have one it won't work... but you could try with program to manage your phone message... try to edit file in hex or sth....
PS2. it also requires the software (OPM) and FBUS cable... ;)
