Gurus,
This is not a cloning issue
My cell carrier in México provides both technologies ( GSM and TDMA) however GSM network is not so big as TDMA ( obviously TDMA was first implemented in 1989, GSM in 2001), due to my work I´m traveling for the entire country and oftenly switching between TDMA zones without GSM, my cell plan is activated for GSM however I would like to use the same phone number in one of my old but trustable TDMA phones (nokia 5120, 6120, 5125),firstable I asked to my carrier (TELCEL) in order to enable my TDMA and GSM to share the number, however they told me that this was technically imposible ( ???? ) maybe you can give me some hint to program the TDMA phone or just to verify the carrier arguments.

Thanks a lot.

GSM uses a SIM card in the phone will TDMA doesnt. And so the TDMA phones doesnt have the slot to place this card so it is imposible. What I dont understand is how is your plan supporting both ?????? the only way to work with both is to have a double line ( two lines sharing the same number ) one programed in your TDMA phone and the other on a SIM card and you can put it in any GSM phone, and thats provided your Wireless provider provide the double line feature.

Recently now, Motorolla produced a mobile phone that works with both CDMA and GSM technology, but there isnt any phone that can work both TDMA and GSM.
