Anti-backup flashing?

is there a way that when you flash your modified flash to a certain fone... when someone backup the flash file and flash it to another fone - it won't work?

like anti-stealing of modified flash files.

Why you want to do that? I think it is impossible even you cut off the contact point for Fbus-RX or TX, people can still solder out the flash ic and put it to another phone to copy your modified flash. Don't try to think about this again. there is no way to do this.

it's just a thought... for all lazy people who depends on OTHER's cool modified flash files and ask money for it... like they don't experiment at all!
now, why would someone spend his time resoldering Flash IC just to steal a modified flash file?

actually until now what i have saw at here only few of them want to share thier modification only, most of them won't.

I know why they don't, like me, i have saw so many mobile shop owner or worker, download those flash from here and modify thier customer phone with those flash and charge with a very nice price.

Why we want to work hard and let those stupid ppl become rich? and we still need to continue supply them modified flash for free. We save money by spend less ourself for buying software, but they just steal the flash and sell to other to become rich day after day. What's the deal.

If you create you own modified flash and sold it (flash back to phone) then that one is considered sold. If you don't want your modifications being copied then use it to your own phone. :lol:

The best way to make your flash file not to be copied back to other phone is to put the name of the owner somewhere in the icons or menus. I think that, they will have a hard time to edit those things if they know then if not, your in luck. :D :D :D

I downloaded modified files in this forum and some of them I flash back to my friends phone for free (maybe a little snack will do :) :) )

by now, by using those crack or free software it is very easy to remove your name in those icon and menu bitmap. so i don't think it is useful.

A lot of amateurs here in the Philippines. They are good in copying (flash cables here are cheap $20, fbus/mbus cables $2), but not in editing. Filipino members in this forum can do that. :lol: :lol:

I share my flash files to others. (if you want mine you can find it HERE (http://home.no.net/geezuzz/stuff/3310_v5.55_Mod_by_GeeZuZz.zip)

The reason is because people can take the ringtones and menu animations, and get some ideas. But i suppose noone uses the flash file in their phone? I would never use someone else's flash in my phone. The meaning with modifying flash files is to make the phone look like you want! not other people.

I would never even used "projectz" in my phone. I only take the parts i like, and make my own flash.

Note: "use" and test is to different things. Of course i test flashfiles on my phone - but i don't use them in many days or something.

Yep i do the same i mean to have a personalised flash is to have one YOU made - all very well having a modded one off net but if YOUVE done it then it seems all the more special :-D

I know and me too, but as knokknok said in some country, ppl there don't know how to modified or maybe too lazy to modify themselve, all they want is a special or diffirent with normal flash file, so they can help customer to upgrade phone and charge for some money.

lets' imagine, you spend so many hour to modified your flash file, and kind enough to share it with others, but later day you seeing your modification are sold in the market with a very nice price, and those ppl become rich just because your flash file. How do you feel? What do you get?

i'm not familar with those flash file, i know only some security 'schemes' with smartcards, but i think the idea is same coz structure are similar at numerous ways

i make my own modified flashes and that's what i flash to my clients' phones... its uncool to use others' modified flash file and earn money from it!!!

At least you modified it yourself, that's okay. But if you steal somebody to earn money from, then shame for you.

What we are talking about here is ppl must learn and modified themselve, if facing any problem, then post question here, i think most of ppl here are very happy to help and share, but if ppl just want to use other ppl modifcation to earn money, then shame...

got a lot of modified flashes cool ones, but becoz of these prople of whom you cant trust, they steal your work for their benefit, i never contribute my 'best' works... i just give it to someone i can trust,
