Ok,
Well 6630s cant currently be unlocked by both cable or code methods.
Its a new generation of phones, that probabilly will require a whole new algo to unlock via code. We are researching very hard to make a calc, hence we need to know working codes. Below are a list of working codes.

It's new algo. If you'll look on last 10 digits in unlock codes and on existing DCT4 algo you'll understand why...

it's easier this way..

this thread is here, so more mods see it and can clean it up.. it's easier than making users send pm's, and then wait for the post to appear..

Sorry for posting without a working code, but I thought I should point out that the first code by Englishpunk is possibly a hoax. Do the following:

IMEI: 354349001640609
Net: 27201 (Ireland Voda)
Asic: 7
Box Serial: 32969

You will notice that the resultant code 1 is #pw+436167250527455+1#, the same as the one posted by Englishpunk but generated using a different IMEI number.

regarding the post above about the ebay 6630 supposedly unlocked from Orange-UK...

I emailed both the seller and the buyer and got this response...

seller: I got it unlocked from India, where they have a cable and Software for it.

buyer: Hi the phone that i received was locked on orange......

So as we all probably suspected, the seller was talking sh**

sorry i have no codes to post but from what im reading on hear this is worth saying for some ppl

i have a nokia 6630 also and IT IS UNLOCKABLE it can be done by calculator, and bluetooth, probably by cable aswell but you have to find the program,if you are on orange you can ring the 3g tech serv and they will unlock the phone for you,
1 snag? you either have to have finished your contract or pay up your contract in full,

2 snag? by calculator when you do it you should get about 8 different codes with the 6630 on orange it has 2 locking codes 1st 1 for the sim 2nd 1 for the data and you only get 5 chances if you f*** it up you will have to do it by cable or bluetooth,

so either w8 for the cable app to be found or dig deep in2 ya pockets and pay 4 it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i did here there are some companys that will send it to you by text? but im unsure about that.

ps any1 finds the program b4 i give up on it let me no

ok some of you may have read my post elsewhere on these forums, regarding my 'reputable' mate who just received a working 6630 unlock code from T-mobile UK.
Heres the latest:
he has emailed me his imei and the code he was given by T-mobile UK, however he has also requested that i do not disclose his imei number to anyone else, and ive gotta respect that.
So I also have a 6630 locked to T-Mobile UK and i have paid for the unlock code last week, this should be arriving in the next few days and when it does, i will be more than happy to share the full details.
In the meantime, this is probably not alot of use, but here is the unlock code my mate received from t-mobile.

good question. Really, good question.

@mods
This thread is getting interested. Tracking of this thread may become a problem. Is there a solution? Maybe making another sticky with the specific title "6630: only post working codes here. Comments on the other thread" could help. I can't think of anything else, as I see pretty impossible to leave a thread like this one without OT comments (OT from only working codes of course, not OT from 6630 topic).

Ok, first, forgive me for not beeing very helpful with this.

Just wanted to write for everybody who reads this thread, that the problem seems to be more complex than a single new box, because all the codes posted here (really, al codes) gave different box serials. So if there's anyone new that reads this thread for the first time and tries to generate a code with any of the serials posted here, don't waste your time or your five -or maybe two, as T-mobile says- attempts to unlock the phone through codes, because as you can see all the codes have different serials, so probably the problem is more complex.

I tried to generate the same code as T-mobile sent on the letter with all the boxes from the four codes given here and all asics on the nokiafree standalone calc (yes, it took an hour or so to try the different possible combinations), and no code were correspondant.

Maybe I did a mistake, or somewhere I repeated the combination and lost an opportunity, but I'm doubtful and as I'm a little meticulous, I think I didn't commit an error. Anyways, i'm very far from beeing infalible. So if anyone wants to try and gets the same code with some combination, please correct me. But as all of us probably realized, it's far from beeing just a new box serial

Sorry for not beeing helpful. At least I like to think that maybe I saved someone's time .

OK I got a phone call from T-Mobile UK today with my unlock code.
My fone is still not unlocked because I already tried 4 codes and thought i would leave my remaining attempt for when i got the code from T-MO.
When i put the code in it said "not allowed" :(
The guy on the fone from T-Mobile said that Nokia have changed the sw on the 6630 and it now only allows 3 attempts to enter an unlock code :(
Although I am sure i previously entered 4 codes and got 'code error' each time.
Either way it seems it is correct that you no longer get 5 attempts, (only 3 or 4)
Anyways heres my details and hopefully it will help others to find the correct unlock code algorythm.

Hi,

After reading the posts that have been put on here i have come to 2 conclusions...

1) Some people are indeed stupid and do not read threads before posting on them

2) This is a topic that people want to discuss as well as putting just "working codes" on.

The fact of the matter is this: This is a subject that people feel the need to discuss. Whether that person is stupid or not is not the issue here the issue is at the moment these phones cannot be unlocked other than by contacting the service provider. This is a topic that should be discussed and as I think it was edge that put there should be another thread made sticky so people can discuss this topic rather than being in a communist like fashion that you can only do whatever you are being told. Forums are for discussions and i have held back a lot of what i have wanted to put previous to this as i have adhered to the "rules". What needs to be done is this, either someone makes a new thread for either discussion or working codes only or everyone just agrees to the fact that this is a thread that will have discussion on it aswell.

At the end of the day if we all were for "rules" we wouldn't want to be unlocking our phones for free in the first place we would all pay our service providers to unlock them.

Thanks

War

if you read the first post in this thread it was set up solely for working codes to be posted....there is a coffee lounge etc to chat if you wish or there is no reason why someone could not start an "off topic" thread about general problems with this phone on this section, all i am asking of people is that they ONLY post codes in this thread...it you want to just chat about unlocking it then start another thread to stop cluttering this one up

finally got a response from t-mobile with regards to my code not working, they say 6630 has proven to be a big pain in the neck, it has taken nokia 4months to provide t-mobile with the service. they have had lots of close talks with nokia about the subject and he tried to give me as much information about unlocking my phone as possible at a local "unlocking shop" he said i need to find some where with a new "nokia security box" he said it is needed to unlock nokia 3g phones as they use extra security measures, he also mentioned the new unlocking system is a chip and pin process. he said that nokia have been very slow about supplying the boxes and couldnt say where they where in the uk but said to try car phone warehouse stores as these are priority i assume as alot of car phone warehouses are NSC's, so ill go to my NSC and car phone warehouse tomorow to see if they have been supplied with their "security box", anybody know any where in the uk with such device?

finally got a response from t-mobile with regards to my code not working, they say 6630 has proven to be a big pain in the neck, it has taken nokia 4months to provide t-mobile with the service. they have had lots of close talks with nokia about the subject and he tried to give me as much information about unlocking my phone as possible at a local "unlocking shop" he said i need to find some where with a new "nokia security box" he said it is needed to unlock nokia 3g phones as they use extra security measures, he also mentioned the new unlocking system is a chip and pin process. he said that nokia have been very slow about supplying the boxes and couldnt say where they where in the uk but said to try car phone warehouse stores as these are priority i assume as alot of car phone warehouses are NSC's, so ill go to my NSC and car phone warehouse tomorow to see if they have been supplied with their "security box", anybody know any where in the uk with such device?

leespud, did you find out if carphone warehouse unlock the phone? if so, il pay a visit to them. and also, what is a 'NSC' ? :-?
thanks

I work at a CPW with a Nokia Service Centre in it and we do not unlock any phones at all. When we get the box all that will enable us to do is software updates not unlocking.

I'm sure that with the equipment Nokia give us it would be in theory possible but the Engineers can get into a lot of trouble for even trying to attempt it

I agree with you in that... And PLEASE, EdgeCrusher, please do not post any "READ THE TOPIC" posts. You are the one that writes most posts in this thread... If someone is not reasonable, you can not change anything about that...

Btw, on a several other places, I read that Dejan Kaljevic has a solution for unlocking 6630, but it is obvious if it is true, he (or anyone else) will try to make some money for his hard work before posting it for free anywhere...

I heard that the charge for unlocking in Belgrade is 30-60EUR. And it is confirmed that the solution exists...

EdgeCrusher
21-04-2005, 05:57 PM
Mr. drDB, I will say this in public. "Read the thread" was, and is, explicitly for code requests. I have nothing against discussions on this topic. If you read all my posts, I was the one of the firsts who said that it was better to create another thread to discuss the bb5 topic, besides this specific thread for codes. So next time read carefully, because the quantity of posts does not say anything by itself. The important thing is what is said. So don't ask me "please" anything. Read carefully next time.

And the dejan thing was already here, in another thread.

BTW, responding to your complain, I have deleted most of my previous posts.

Hey.. I tried unlocking a 6630 locked on Austria's Mobilkom Austira (A1) network (23201000) with the NokiaFREE EXE calc.. Although the +7 code didn't work, when i tried +1 code it said Code accepted! I tried putting a SIM card from another network into the phone, and it said SIM not valid.
Now my question is, is it possible that i have to input some other codes besides +1 (like +2 or +3) and the phone will unlock (since +7 is the only one which is supposed to "unlock all"), or is it just random success that occured to someone else too? Is it possible that Mobilkom phones work with the algo in NokiaFREE calc? I am aware that i only have 3 tries so i am waiting for more phones from this provider (i think i'll get 7 of them).. I will try the +1 code and other codes in combination on other phones. I will post if i get it working, but if anyone has any info on this please post. I still do not know if cable solutions work here, does anyone know (and which software)?

even moderators are posting codes... what do you want? Them to thank themselves? Community work is the point... the "thanks" will be a way to unlock 6630... be patience, or buy the code from your provider and post it here please!

How many times have you say "thanks" to the authors of all the free calcs out there?

(only) In this specific thread we 'tolerate' certain exeptions on the rule bout posting imeis or codes.

But please don't post them when U're only trying to get some benefit for Urself.

The exeptions should only be those which could actually be useful to people who might need such infos in the benefit of this socalled community.

I entered in several wrong 'unlock' codes into my phone before I got the correct one from T-mobile. I tried entering the 'correct' code obtained from T-mobile but I'm sure because i'd been entering the wrong codes I no longer can unlock it. It says " Not Allowed". T-mobile say there is nothing they can do for me.

Is it still possible to give the 'correct' code to someone with a cable to unlock it that way.
Note: have the coreect code from T-mobile (15 quid)

unfortunatley you have now hard locked the phone and as you have found out you can't even enter the correct code any more. even more unfortunate is the fact that no other method exists to unlock these phones yet, so untill one of the flash boxes come up with a update to unlock this model you'r stuck

Having read thru this thread, i thought id add my findings on the subject of unlocking 6630/6680:

I found a website that does the flash box that **apparently** Flash unlocks BB5 handsets, problem being it costs about 300 quid and im sure if it did work a solution would be available by now.

3UK will supply you with an unlock code, but again it costs £115!!!!

Vodaphone(UK) charge £20

Its also worth mentioning that after looking at most of the unlocking sites out there even if you get the unlock code from your operator it seems roughly 50% chance it will work.

Dont flame me for not posting a code, because TBH all people are gonna do is use these codes and find themselves with hardlocked phones.

Good luck to all u guys that are working hard at getting an algo for it!

same with mine, i found out back in january when i got mine, its because virgin and t-mobile are basically the same network, just run by different companies, if you stick a virgin sim card in a very old phone like a 3210 it will display t-mobile on the screen.

Ok,
Well 6630s cant currently be unlocked by both cable or code methods.
Its a new generation of phones, that probabilly will require a whole new algo to unlock via code. We are researching very hard to make a calc, hence we need to know working codes. Below are a list of working codes.

So how did a hoax code unlock my friend Trant's, from What Mobile forums, 6630 then. Trant got the code from Vodafone Ireland, and it did unlock his 6630, so why are you calling it a hoax code?

come on Edge, spit it out, how are you calling an official code from Vodafone Ireland that has been proven to unlock a Vodafone Ireland 6630, owned by my friend Trant, a hoax code?

I just want to know what you are basing this theory on, seeing as I know the code worked.

Best regards
Edge

PS: @Paul2, thanks for posting in that form. Thank you very much.

PLease teach me how to do it. I would like to have a try of it. Thanks for advance

LOL seems to me that most of this thread is about ppl asking for codes, but instead getting flamed by other ppl who tell them to read the d*mn thread because there are no DIY codes. It's been keeping me smiling for months now.

So anyway, to kinda continue in that trend, here's my offtopic question:

My vodafone belgium n6630 is (offcourse) locked. But the NSP told me it is illegal to get an unlock code here. So I have to wait and wait till you guys find a solution. Unless.... unless one of you guys could help me out, try to get an unlock code from one of your ISP's (For vodafone Belgium and not UK ofcourse). Maybe one of you knows a NSP technician, who'd be happy to use my ISP code instead of the UK's?

I'm willing to pay triple: 1x for the code, 1x for the forum reader and 1x for the NSP technician. (Given 15-20 UKP for the code) Since 45-60 quid wouldn't even get me in the UK and getting unlock codes being illegal in Belgium annd DIY is out of the question, it's not even that hard a bargain...

Mind you, the 115 quid code is not in my lane!

And offcourse I'd be happy to share my code with you guys.

Illegal unlock codes, it's like buying a car and being told you may only get gas at Q8...

Sincerely.

the cost of a code has been posted here several times...

mostly the costs are from UK. They seem to charge around 15-25 pounds (sorry, I don't have the symbol on my keyboard, spanish one).

That is a lot less than 100 Euros, but continental networks seem to overprize codes...

Sorry for not bringing better news, but definitively UK networks charge less than 100 Euros (of course, maybe there is an exception).

Now I can't prove this but I have a friend who I rarely see, but who knows his stuff and sold his NW chain of mobile phone shops for a large seven-figure sum last year. My point is I trust his judgement and he says he can get the 6630 unlocked for £10. He also promises a money back guarantee if it doesn't work, but I'm assuming this is for UK only.

I'm no expert so don't shoot the messenger. I did read the thread but thought this might be useful. Sorry if I f'd up, I'm almost too scared to post this!

not before christmas i doubt, if ever, this new algorithm is HEAVY!!!! the cable unlocking method is so elaborate, but as time goes on people are understanding more and more about BB5 setup, at the moment the only method is with the NOKIA hardware(WHICH CAN NOT BE PURCHASED) and a special SMART card provided to nokia by the service provider.

the best bet is contact service provider they are the only people who can help you, which is what they want

i have one contract with voda connect uk (originally a 7610) 9 months in and took out a second (6680) with carphone warehouse vodafone. i phoned voda cpw and asked them to unlock the phone and they said no, not until after 12 months.but then i phoned voda connect and told them i had just got a 6680 on voda and wanted it unlocked, and they sent me the code for free two days later. this leads me to believe that i could phone them up with any imei of a phone locked to voda and they would give me the code...... interesting. anyway the code worked fine, here it is

6680 on vodafone uk

For the last few months i have followed the thread on here and been to numerous shops in a vain attempt to find a solution. I ahve had the software updated on the phone. However here is where my problem ends - i contacted Vodafone, the phone was issued with a contract but i bought it from the guy and a only on Vodafone PAYT. After a couple of calls and waiting i was sent 3 codes which didn't work, they never contacted me on the numbers i gave them, only sent a text saying we tried contacting you. After this i was sent a text by an engineer saying if i had a certain software version their unlock codes would not work. I had already upgraded it so they said to send it to Vodafone. 2 Weeks later after many calls because they lost my phone!!Yes i sent it recorded delivery. I have sent numerous angry faxes, emails and calls.
Eventually i threatened them with going to the police and reporting it as stolen!!
Eventually they said they would send a replacement - However i demanded a 6680 as the 6630 is being discontinued by Vodafone. They sent this, a free unlock code and giving me £25 towards my credit and new car holder i need - not bad but took a lot of effort - be prepared for this. It's taken hours and hours.
However i spoke to a shop in wakefield near me - wizard electronics i think last week, he said he can unlock the 6630's but only on vodafone - i will attempt to find his number again or just ring directory enquiries and ask yourself.

Thanks and sorry for the long message but thought i would show how useless vodafone are but there is light at the end of the tunnel!!

@mr. sztiv and mr. alameiras:

please, read at least the first post on this thread, which states this clearly: Nokia 6630 & 6680 can not yet be unlocked by any method. The only way is to contact your provider and ask them for the code.

No software or application or hardware that is widely accessible can calculate an unlock code for these models.

Best regards
Edge

ps: Mr. sztiv, I would recommend you to edit your post and erase your imei, since it can be stolen and used if posted in public (that is one of the reasons why code requests are not allowed on this forum... and a couple legal reasons more of course). Again, best regards.

A VLTS code does not exist. VLTS is Vodafone's software for logging customers calls.

Take it from me, I work in their technical department.

A claim made on the 12th of July 2005 is: "WE UNLOCKING BB5 PLATFORM NMP PHONES 6630/6680"

However, you may notice that there is no link associated with the title unlike all other news located on that page. Anyway, after 7 months we have to assume that the solution is somewhat close.

just bought a 6680 locked to the new italian company "3"...have tried 5 different codes by now in order to unlock it (codes were generated by Ultimate Calculator v1.0 by UniqueSW) and all it says is 'code error'!!... I was afraid it would not allow any further attempts but it has not displayed the 'not allowed' message yet...does anyone know why? ...the first three tries were done without the sim in and the last 2 with the sim in ...if there's anyone who has some experience with phones locked to '3' please share...anything...incl. how much would they normally charge you in case you ask them to unlock it for you...and if there's a way to avoid it...my current contract with them specifies I'll have to pay 9 euros/month for the phone only (excl. talk-time) for 2 years until it becomes mine

Well let me add my 2 pennies worth!

I bought this fone 6680 from a second hand shop and the guy said it was on o2. so i got it home tried my sim and i got "sim card rejected" . I tried a 3 sim card and it worked. My question is..did the o2 card not work simply cos its not a 3g O2 card? daft question i guess. Because ive seen things about the net saying 3g cards work on 3g handsets. I dont want to fork out £115 for 3 to push one button and give me some digits when o2 cards wont work in the bastards anyway!!

So is there a way of finding out what network this phone works on. for example it might be unlocked but just needs a 3g sim? im not sure about this 3g lark. I bought it becuase it liked the features, i didnt know it was 3g!!
Anyone got any suggestions?

All 3G phones will work as a GSM phone 900/1800 and some will work in

850/1900

I don't why North America did that...but it's been like that for a long time now, except the relatively recent 850 frequency.

virgin sell the 6630 and they dont have 3G active on their network, so i dont think it matters with the 6680 either, also with the 6680 you can select the hand set to be GSM only. any way why have a 6680 without a 3G sim card???? you may aswell get rid of the ugly front facing camera and get a 6681

Ok,
Well 6630s cant currently be unlocked by both cable or code methods.
Its a new generation of phones, that probabilly will require a whole new algo to unlock via code. We are researching very hard to make a calc, hence we need to know working codes. Below are a list of working codes.

I did read the whole thread through and would just like to (re)confirm whether I've got it right:

I understand that 3-uk phones have the feature to work on GSM locked out. Since I have complete faith in the people on this forum, I believe that soon it will be possible to SIM-unlock these phones and use them on any network. I assume that this would not resolve automatically the issue of getting 3-uk phones to work on non-3G networks. Is this correct and if yes, how can this feature be unlocked ?

the codes are 15 digits long, the are produced using nokia's winlock 5 software.
there is a cracked version of this circulating the net, BUT it can only generate the codes with a smart card containing certain elements which the algorithm needs to generate the code

nokia service centres have all this equipment, but not all networks have issued/sent out their smart cards so if you are lucky your network would have.

the only network that i know hasnt issued these are the 3 netowrk so if you are on 3 i think you will have to pay thier stupid costs

could you please at least read the first post on this thread? Currently 6630 & 6680 can't be unlocked via codes.

Code requests and imei posting are not allowed here and lead to be banned. So start by reading the rules please.

Mr. truly_urs:

1. Code requests are not allowed in this forum.
2. IMEI posting is not allowed in this forum.

Breaking those two rules lead to be banned. Read the rules and be careful please.

3. Your phone can't be unlocked via codes. Read the first post on this thread. As soon as there is a solution, this will be updated.

A) reading the start of the thread
B) inputting a fake code or three :D :D

Sorry for posting without a working code, but I thought I should point out that the first code by Englishpunk is possibly a hoax. Do the following:

IMEI: 354349001640609
Net: 27201 (Ireland Voda)
Asic: 7
Box Serial: 32969

You will notice that the resultant code 1 is #pw+436167250527455+1#, the same as the one posted by Englishpunk but generated using a different IMEI number.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- hi haw ar ya? i have a problem with my 6630.... isee you have some codes for irland networ providers....my phone is from irland (midlands) vodapfone and imei : [removed].... can you get a code for this imei...thankss for trying......

Don't risk to be banned. Imei posting is not allowed here and leads to ban.

so what about code generated for 6630 r they the same as for 6680?

EdgeCrusher

6630 and 6680 phones use a completely different technology. They are not locked through a known algorithm -DCT3 or DCT4-, instead they are locked with a technology denominated BB5.

If you take a look at the first post of this thread you will find a series of codes. Those codes were posted by people, and bought from the respective providers. If you take a look and search for the serial used, you will find that all of them bring out different serials.

That is because the technology used is not DCT4, it's a new technology which has not been yet worked out.

By the way, I don't understand clearly what you mean by 'keygen'. Do you mean serial? 6630 and 6680, as I said, do not use the same procedure, thus the serial doesn't really matter.

No. Flashing and unlocking use different phone/firmware sections. And if that should be possible don't you think it would have been announced by now? ;) don't forget that BB5 phones can be flashed by several boxes now

As long as we know, the one that has reported to be able to unlock bb5 phones, but only locally (meaning he needs to be phisically with the phone) is Dejan Kaljevic. But of course, the problem, besided that he's in Serbia, is that none of us has been able to prove what he says, and I can't give you any guarantee about the degree of confidence that must be sustained with his words.

Until we have no real prove, we can't say if it's real. As long as the solution is only at disposition phisically with the phone, it's pretty difficult to have a prove.

Well, obviously it is possible to unlock a 6630 or any phone for that matter, the manufacturer doesn't make the phones restricted to only 1 network, it's not a hardware thing. Obviously there are people that can do this if you have people that work at T-Mobile or whichever network unlock them, someone will either leak out the info or crack it *hint* *hint*.

Just my 2cents.

JAF was already able to flash BB5 phones. However, flashing a BB5 will not unlock it, since the lock has been located somewhere else. Although you can flash the phone (for servicing purposes i.e.), the phone will still be locked.

Can anyone supply an unlock code for an N90?

Only kidding. Didn't need one at all actually; off topic I know, but just thought ppl might be interested that I had a Nokia N90 on Vodafone (no Vodafone branding but Vodafone web settings) that worked with my Fresh PAYG SIM and my mate's T-Mobile SIM.

Didn't surf web properly with any SIM so supplier (UK based) sent another one which also worked on Fresh SIM. (But not properly on Vodafone web so cancelled)

The end of network locks?...

Considering that 3G and soon 4G phones will use more frequently the high speed transmission and, therefore, web settings it makes sense not to block access to voice transmission (allowing other network SIM cards) but to block the web settings

Ok, in order:

1. No, it is not possible. And if you have passed the three tries limit (yes, 6630 and 6680 only allow three tries instead of five), you have permanently locked your phone, as not even your provider can unlock it. Currently, the only way is with a code from your provider.

2. No, it is not possible to unlock it by flashing. Flashing a 6630 is used to fix some problems, but it does not remove the lock.

3. You have posted in the right section, but all of your question have been answered before on this thread. Next time, use the search engine ;)

4. No, it is not true of course. Currently, as I said before, the only way is with a code from your provider. If you broke the three tries limit, the phone is permanently locked -and I mean it, it's PERMANENTLY locked-.

Wrong! It can be unlocked but only via cable method, not codes. Some EXPERTS in the field have created a solution, but it is not available to the public, and they unlock these phones privately, if you are visiting bulgaria, then contact Dejan he claims to be able to unlock via cable.

You certainly have followed previous posts. That Dejan is able to unlock phones has been stated. However, unless you can send the phone to Dejan and you are willing to pay the (if I recall correctly) 50€ that he charges, the phone is permanently locked. I wrote that the phone is permanently locked because the solution is in no way at broad disposition (only Dejan?) and most of the people that need to unlock a 6630 or 6680 doesn't know who's Dejan. Though who's Dejan has been wroten before here, almost no one reads the 200+ posts that this thread has or use the search engine.

By the way, wasn't Dejan in Serbia?

Cheers Cosmictej!

Oops yes m8 ur ryt he is in Siberia, I dont know about charges, but the likes of Zulea and co are also unlocking privatley. Nick from the Prodigy team, whu are based in the uk, tld me that they will also be unlocking privately to in the near future.

The point im trying to make is that it is possible to unlock without the need of a provider, but the costs are high.

If these highly recognised programmers in the GSM world are unlocking privately and will not be releasing a tool for purchase, then there will never be a solution available to the public.

They wont release it as the gsm bizness is so unstable that if released, it will be cracked and made free within a few days. So there isnt much point in them in selling a tool that can unlock them.

I BELIEVE I FIGURED HOW TO USE MY 6680 WITH ANY SIM.

1. put the sim your phone is locked to and turn the phone on.
2. go to offline profile
3. remove back cover and slowly lift battery so it doent turn off.
4. carefully remove sim and replace with another provider sim making sure phone doesnt turn off.
5. turn on online profile and enjoy.

if it still doesnt work go to network setting and change to manual/automatic.

let me know if it worked for you guys.

RPA3G is the IC (integrated circuit) that acts as the UEM chip in 6630 phones. You will need several tools to do this... if you have never opened a phone, you shouldn't start with your user phone cause you run the risk of killing it.
