7600 major problem

ive had my 7600 jus over a year now...it was unlocked from 3g....for the last2 days wen i turn the fone on it shows a msg that says "cell info cannot be displayed on this network"...when this msg appears it stops me from doing any other activities on the fone and all the reception goes...does any one knw what the problem could be?

you need to do a "full Factory Reset" by using fbus software by maestro and a serial data cable from www.phantomgsm.com , I hav posted a guide on how to do this under nokia 7600 faq's I think...

otherwise you need to take it to a shop to get this done for about £10-£15

this gives you back the menu option to lock the phone to GSM networks, your phone is getting a 3g signal and attempting to access it by default
