if you are using the new snapshot update (29-01-05) then at the top of you menu.txt file make sure this line is deleted..

@default gfx=0x179 anim=0x24 func=0xDC (Taken from V 06.33)

and keep these lines..

@menu dispmode=0x10 unknown=0x111802 (Taken from V 06.33)
@header flag2=0xD flag3=0x100

try this and see.
