7250 clip unlock failure

I have an unlock clip 4 batterys, 4 leds , 2 button type with USB lead with different connections i tryed to unlock a 7250 with my 7210 lead it does not work is this because my clip is to old or do i need a 7250 lead is there any difference i also tryed the codes but it said code error!! :-? :-?
