as per my experience there is no solution for v2 when u try to read v2 type the software says " unknown ki ".any more info if anybody have plz share with us.

hey i thouht id let you guys know u dont actually need a simcard reader i used my infinity phoenix usb to read the digits and am on my way to reading my KI which is a long process, basically i got the peice of card that i got my simcard with and celoptabed the back of it and stuck it my card reader and put in pheonix 3.58 and it started reading, i think if u got old o2 sims u can just click on goldcard and erase it and u wont need to actually cut it out and shit.

Those generate SIM-EMU 6.01-based .hex files to write to your Silver\Green\Green 2 card.

changes from original (Daniel Jabif's) emulator:
- ICC-ID support for all entries
- Access control classes modification
- Possibility of SIM's menu structure modification
- A3A8 authentication counter added, its value by default is 65535, working decremently. On reaching the value of 0 authentication will stop working and all bad things can happen :)
You can switch on/off the counter through the 'Configure/A3A8 counter' menu.

Ok I need some help just bought a usb sim card reader/writer I tested with my personal sim card and its really frutrating cause it wont find de Ki, I used 3 diferent softwares and I went like 7 hour scan and nothing one of the software shows a message that says "Using Brute Force is Useless" so i tried a strong ki..scan ... and nothing de sim card is a gemplus of 32K, is this a V2 card ?? how can i now for sure is a v1 OR V2 CARD.... sofware recomendations ??? ... im trying with the programs that are on your page ... if anyone can help please do so...

A numer of people have asked about sim adapters or other hardware for sim reading/cracking/etc....
Just wanted to mention it's very easy (and relatively cheap) to get a USB sim adaptor from eBay. Sometimes they come together with a golden card (called multi sim, 6 in 1 sim, 16 in 1 sim, super sim, etc. etc.). Myself got one within a week of payment. For obvious reasons I'm not gonna recommend any particular seller...

The telecompanies can do the following counter meassures:

1) Switch from comp128-1 to the new comp128-2 and comp128-3
algorithms - or even use another proprietary algorithm.

2) Limit the total number of times the "RUN GSM Cmd" command,
can the run - This is normal the reason for a dead GSM SIM Card.

3) Protecting comp128-1 by implementing a procedure to detect
when someone is running a Ki scanning tool.

I know IMSI and Ki of my V2 card, but I can't find blank sim card which support V2 algorithm to store my IMSI and Ki.

Most of you won't be able to clone your SIM cards because most companies are aware of the cloning procedures and don't produce SIM cards that can be cloned with the software availiable publicly. In addition most sim card readers will also write to the card and for those of you who still need a device you can buy a ISO7816 compliant smart card device that will work for most of your needs. Forget any new SIM cards and hope you are a lucky person with an older SIM card if you are wanting to clone it.

All softwars have some problems with it. Like Xsim has bugs, SimScan some time give CHIV Pin Error, Some programmes does not work with Win XP etc etc.

I was facing all these problems since long, but now i am satisfied with Woron_Scan sim scanning software. It is working very well and have no problem.

when I put a 128v2 sim in my reader woron scan told me it was v2 with out even a single a38 hit..... So if it runs under woronscan, its a v1

I tried it and it usek all 65k a38 hits of a confirmed V! sim and did not even get the first pair.... could have been operator error, or it could have been the app, I dunno
I cracked my next 5 sims with woronscan, #6 is running now, maybe I spoke to soon 10,000 a38 hits and still dont have the first pair...

Seems like I have landed in a place where I may be able to get help..

I have a USB reader and it works with old sim card and backs it all up.
I have three new cards and as you all know they do not want to comply with being backed up as the Ki information seems unwilling to be extracted.

Can anyone please advise (Via email or in forum if not breaking rules.) where I can dl software to backup these newer cards?

On my three newer sim cards I get to 49% and fails with error message "Can't found out Ki, the algorithm may not be COMP128-1'".

It seems the software scans through the sim card analysing for the Ki or other information, If any programmers out there why not copy the whole simcard to computer memory then analyse the data for the Ki.

I am still working on this same problem.

I found on the web that some people claim that they have succeeded in writing an old ki (working with compV1) to a simcard V2.

Well, what do they mean by sim card V2? are they preprogrammed simcards containing comp128 V2? so if yes, then they just write the ki and imsi only? and how this can be done?

My second question, can we write a new ki (working with compV2) to some sim cards?

Any help from you will be appreciated.
