Unlocked...but not working

Hi, I just unlocked my 2600...Gave me the Restriction removed message. :-D ...so i turned it off, put in a sim card from a different company...and it doesn't pick up any network :(
But wen i put in the original sim, it picks up the original network again...

any help? :-?

that might be because of the band widht of the phone..
it may not be compatible with the other network signal.. try other networks

I agree with Mr. ninjana, if the phone would not be unlocked, it would display "SIM not valid". Since it starts, tries to find the right network but it doesn't find it, probably the SIM that you have is from a network that works in a different frequency.

That is more probable if you consider that the 2600 is a dual band phone, and not a tri band.
