use hexediter, find the flash version out(like v5.57) edit/replace it with the version you want, open it with ppmmanager to recalculate checksum.

hah!, ppm manager? i started to hate that program.
it damages my flash file.
maybe you can try if you're using rolis.
it kill my 5210 after update.
other than ppm manager, is there any other program that i can use?

Hi Khizofdeath, Hex Workshop v3.11 from Breakpoint software www.bpsoft.com is excellent for the job, It is a limited time trial version so after 30 days you will need to register & buy it alternatively search for a crack for it with any good search engine. Good luck

PPMmanager don't damage the flash files! it only updates the ppm checksums!

open the flash file with Hex Workshop or any hex editor...

take the 3310 v 5.55 as an example...

MCU: change ..............V 05.55.31-05-02.NHM-5.(c) NMP...
to VTHEREM.12345678.NHM-5.(c) NMP or whatever you want.

PPM: it doesn't matter - don't change it... it won't show up when you press *#0000#... it will only show in Net Monitor test 88.

save the flash file and open it with rolis 478 and check MPU CHK and save the flash file and flash or just open the flash file with PPMEdit 1.0h (auto checksum) and save.

btw: this will not work with 62xx/7110.

You don't need to know the offset...

Just search for the text.
