o.k....i have currenlty working on changing the menu names! i have succefuls done two so far...u can change to sms tone but then u ll have to create ur own file and use nfree to get rid of checksums the wirte in the slot where u wanna change and make it sure is the same size and long proceess but i will write a tutriol

Someone claimed that he changed on 6110 sms tones.
It was at this forum but i cant find it.

I will study also on that subject.

I made one test but contact service appeared even chksum were right.

I will try to look 02fc (beginning) or 070b(end) at mcu part.

I have extra 5110 to play with.

Mr Nokiaguru.

Sms tones is not the ringtone data format.
Also ringtones are in ppm and/or eeprom area, the sms tones in the MCU.
MCU changings also require MCU checksum update.

For Ur 5110 I attached a list which will help you finding these sms beepies.
