7600 is a DCT4 phone. It needs to be flashed, which means that now its firmware needs to be replaced with a clean one. Take it to a small repair shop, they will do it for you for a small charge, because the cost of the equipment doesn't justificate for just one phone (a box to do that like Griffin Platinum costs something like 480 Euros).

If it'd be a DCT3 phone it could be flashed with a small clip that costs something like 50usd, give or take a little. But 7600 is a DCT4 handset.

Just needs to be unlocked with a cable and professional box, griffin, twister, ufs, prodigy etc. Most decent car boot sales and markets have someone doing them for £5 to £10 quid. Doesnt nessessarialy need flashing, but its a good idea because it can remove the 3 branding and restrictions (inability to access network mode menu etc).

Or a small shop might help.

(I charge £5 to unlock them, £15 to flash them) as a guide.

Steve, I have the same problem. When i try to unlock it with the unlock code, it says 'cannot do unrestriction' I would like to get it unlocked if you can do it for £5. How do we go about doing this?

Depends on where you are located? If you are in or near the Worcester area of the midlands you can bring it to me, either at home or to one of my markets. Alternatively you coulod post it to me, but for the sake of a £5 unlock its not worth the risk and hassle, if you intend to post then i suggest you use someone like www.allgsm.co.uk where you will find a very trustworthy and reliable service!
