T720 IMEI isn't compatible

I'm from Brazil and I got a Motorola T720 in the USA, but it doesn't work here because his IMEI isn't compatible (01XXXX).

So I was looking for a solution to exchange my IMEI for a valid number (like 35XXXX).

Somebody could help me? Is there another solution?

First of all it need to be unlock to use with any carrier.
I don't think is a matter of IEMI# compatable cause IEMI stand for .
International Electionic Mobile Identification.
Just to identify purpose, have got nothing to do with capatibable.
But resaon is not working because USA use 850/1900 Mz bandwith and Brazil may use Europen system with would be 900/1800 Mz. So you need to use Opcode to change or Flex it with bandwidth change.
