Nokia 9910i problem

Hi there sorry if i am asking something that has already been asked but tried searching and couldnt find anything i have a 9110i which works fine except the screen on the outside does not,when you switch it on the screen lights up all the pixels go black for about half a second and then screen goes blank but back lights stay on does anybody no the problem and how can i fix it
