HI there, i have a 6230 and i have attempted too many times to enter the codes on the phone and now it wont allow me to undo the restriction... I have purchased a DKU-2 cable but from what i have gathered this is not going to really help me much in unlocking it... Does anyone know where i go from here in regards to unlocking it, i know that there are boxes available, at a price, i dont really want to be spending alot of money though... Is there any way to unlock it with the USB cable (DKU-2), i have also been told i may need the other cable that plugs into the back where the battery is... Can anyone help me on this?? Its driving me nuts!

Though some people reported that they had unlocked some dct4 phones with data cables, they have never explained how, even when a super moderator (Mr. Alinus) asked if it could be explained because he was curious.
As long as I know, the only way now is by cable and box. Nevertheless, it's pretty expensive and almost senseless if it is for just one phone, though you could be curious an with 400 Euros to spend in your pocket.
The best way now would be trying to find a small repair shop that will flash the phone for a small charge, or taking the phone to a nokia care service, thay will flash the phone too.
Best regards
