**Does anyone know of a utility or method for tricking an application into using a different COM port?**
I bought a USB data cable for my 3595 in an attempt to unlock it. I've since read that you need a clip to do so, but I would still like to try one more time with the JIC DCT4 Unlocker software (following this tutorial: http://www.unlockme.co.uk/dct4unlocking.html ). It looks like there is hope, because the test mode app sends my phone into test mode as it should, but I think the Unlocker is assuming the phone is on COM1 and does not let you specify like the test mode app.
