Can anyone help me with superminers level 28?

It's the level with the 3 big fireballs... I can't work out what to do to get the gem above the 3 stones..

Help?

The question is not how you do level 28 but the question is how the hell do you do the last level called level 93????
I dont get how you can do level 93 coz if you get the last gem the stones will fall on the place where the port will be opening and you cant go in there.
I dont get it.

hey cool, how did you make the screenshots? It you tell me ill make some screens of the level im stuck on.

It wasn't easy.. I used remote s60 pro to do the screen captures, and pieced them together with photoshop..

So how did you get passed that level?? :)

You sure are.. the level I'm stuck on is actually quite boring (well it is when you've been stuck for like 3 days!).. there's a HEAP of interesting stuff in the game. It's the perfect update to boulderdash!

regarding the lever 28, i dont remember quiter coz there are so many levels in the game i cant keep track how i made them in my fustration, but i think you should let the fireballs destroy the rocks somehow. i think stand under the rock and wait for the fireball to come and just before it hits it get the hell outta there! :)

Fireballs on lelvel 28 have a distinct pattern, study it and you can learn on when should you be starting to move...believe me, this is only the solution.

BTW, im currently on level 50

I know it must be possible, but my brain is telling me it's not.

The problem is that the first fireball can only ever bounce into the right hand exit from it's 'area' on the bounce immediately AFTER it's hit the green gem.

1)You hide behind the green gem, wait till the fireball hits it then try to race to the other side before the fireball gets there... nope never ever going to work - the fireball gets you without fail.

2) You take the green gem and get over to the other side - but then the fireball shoots off down the tunnel where the gem was and is destroyed by a monster.. useless.

According to ID I don't need that top right gem - but the exit doesn't open when I collect all the others.
Stuff this cracked version crap. I'm gonna buy the real thing.

i dont get it then, why does the cracked one differ from the full one? im cunfised. all the cracked one should do is have the license in it not change the levels :-?

It's because ID are very very sneaky with their anti-piracy coding.. look how long it took to get skyforce working properly...

To pass level 22 in the cracked version you need 37 gems.

If you aim well, you can get 9 gems for each monster = 36
So you need to kill a monster at the instant he is beside the stones protecting a gem in a corner. It took me 3 days to get this right, but I managed in the end.

You think 22 is hard? 28 is completely impossible in the cracked vers. I'm going to have to buy the game.

Hmm, I downloaded a completed game.cfg file, and had a go at 93.. it only took me about 20 minutes to work it out. You definitely do not need multiplayer. I'll work on a solution for you this afternoon.

thats totally fucked up!
Coz for me the portal opens at the bottom right corner, where to stones fall down. so no wonder i couldnt manage it. Infact in my game its impossible.
But, im not gonna download another version just to go all the way to level 93 again. or is there a way to still be in level 93 with a different version of the game?

ok heres the solution to get thru level 28, sorry but i dont have the screenies hope you can do with description only.

1.0 First approach the two monsters circling around, wait for the second one to pass and get behind it, while following it exit on the next tunnel.
2.0 Get the 1st gem, don't get the green gem yet.
3.0 Stand behind the green gem, wait for the fireball to hit it.
4.0 Once it is hitted, immediately move to the center to get an extra life, stop momentarilly there.
5.0 Wait till the fireball passes you and then proceed to the next tunnel.
6.0 Dig up to the dirt and go down, and immediately turn left once you reached the bottom, if not the boulders will squash you.
7.0 Two monsters are again circling around, just do the same as mentioned at 1.0
8.0 Now get the 3rd gem, dont get the 4th gem yet.
9.0 Stand behind it and wait for the 2 fireballs to hit it.
10.0 Once the 2nd fireball hits the gem immediately exit the tunnel and stand at the middle (portal for the next level is activated).
11.0 Wait momentarilly for the 1st fireball to pass in front of you, immediately enter the tunnel where the next warp level is. If you failed to move once the 1st fireball pass you, it will hit you when it bounce back, so move after it passed you.

I downloaded a completed game.cfg file to get to level 93 :lol: I still can't do 28. In the cracked vers, level 28 the portal does not open at the step 10 you describe. This is why I thought it must be necessary to get the red gem in the top right. Thanks anyway :)


adamtrance: back up your game.cfg file, install new version of game, then overwrite with your backup game.cfg :)

hmm.. thats strange, my cracked copy of super miners only required 4 gems to be collected, yours are 5. Yet on level 22 we both have 37 gems to collect, so I was expecting that its the same cracked version.

Dont think its possible to get that red gem on top of the boulders, better download a different copy. :wink:
