Unlocking 6230 with a usb cable plz help..

Hi all i recently got a 6230 wich is blocked.. so i bought a usb data cable wich now i aint sure that was the right thing to do 8-) , so im wondering is there anyway software that reads ur phone through a usb port instead of a com port any help will be very greatful :???:

Blocked is a barred phone, a phone that has been declared stolen or lost. No solution to that.

Locked is a phone locked to a certain network that reject sim cards from other pdoviders.

The USB data cable is useless in both cases, since for thie first case you'd need to change uem chip (microsoldering, very complex task, better buy a new phone or sell it overseas), and for the second case you'd need to flash the phone, that is replace the phone's firmware with one that has no lock programmed. For that you need a box, which is rather expensive for just one phone.

The best solution would be trying to find a small repair shop that will flash the phone for a small charge, 20usd max.
