Just downloaded it from usual places...
Someone managed to install it?The archive contains many,many things (and folders!) and i'm not sure if they are all required to be copied on mmc.BTW from the images it seems a REALLY COOL action rpg.

This is strange. I installed it on my QD, & got a message saying. "Invalid phone model". Any1 else got this message as well on their QD. :-?

Also i read that the game is in Spanish & includes Portuguese. :(

I tried to install it on my 7610,but the 'wrong phone model!' message pops up and stops everything!that's the first time ever i experienced such error.Maybe it'a a new,clever protection to lock the game into spanish QDs (i read that the game comes in bundle on a QD special offer only in spain).Someone managed to get it working?

Damn!!! This sucks big time. It doesn't work on my QD, nor is it in english. Hopefully an english ver. will be released very soon. It seems really nice by the images, that i have seen.

It has the spanish and portuguese languages only, i've played it on my n-gage and it is very good.
The portuguese translation is a little off, hehehe, but the game certainly is worth it.

thats not true, the name of the file is
Barakel.NGage.Game.English.Version.Translated-oWnPDA

there is no 6600 version or above ever made...
your psp is making you see double :P

It's not a small patch but two huge .sis files...
BTW,the author will better test it on the specified phones (the file name says for 6600,7610 and 3230) before releasing it...infact it doesn't work on 6600 and 7610...it will be no surprise if it doesn't work on 3230 too....

i have the (barely) english version of barakel:fallen angel and its really gd

however there is a point in the game where u need to travel to the "infraworld", and when i do there is a message in spanish (or portuguese) and the game closes. this is particularly annoying as its is not very far through the game

it also came with a video app with the making of blade trinity which dosent work.

Hey guys..

I have the game for the last 2 months.. and i have only 1 one word for it - Fabulous

Really great 3D engine and nice sounds.. pretty much a diablo type of screen.. but although no match for the real RPG game "The Roots - Gate of Chaos" (which is pretty much a treat for all those diablo fans - i personally prefer "roots" because of more character abilities

About Barkel.. well first of al the game is available in English since ages and in two packs
1). one is the original barkel in spanish with the eng translated app.dat file
2). is only the translated .dat file ( so you'll have to install the spanish version first and then overwrite the main app file with this translated one)

although now most of the popular channels are serving the file as repacks which contain the eng version.. so no need worrying abt the language

Graphics
---------
Well the graphics are certainly better than "the roots".. cause we see the character at a much near distance.. so definitely more detail and better visualiation of the hero and villians

Gameplay
---------

This is where the game gets repititive -
Although you'll enjoy the game in the beginning, but pretty soon you'll come to expect some very common occurences like

1). every now and then you'll face 2-3 enemies who are really easy to kill if done with a proper techinique
2). pointless wandering in the senerio for eons and eons before u actually come across to any waypoint or target
3). Innitially the game shows visual markers as where u ought to go in the level.. but within 10 min of gameplay the markers vanish
4)There is no inbuilt map system so no way of telling where u are going.. Ocassinally u may reach corssroads that may have signposts
5) Inventory is pretty much crap..
6) player stats can not be modified mannually

Compatibility
----------

The channels that serve this file state that this file is only meant for the old N-gage.. and i have that model.. have not tested it on ther models.. so cant say for sure whether it works or not

The game comes with some other porgrams like videos, Realy Player & The games files.. i suppose u install all these files and then try play the game.. but cant say for sure whether it'll work on all phones or not

Summary
-------

Gr8 game to lay hands on.. but if you really want a good RPG games that covers it all, then go for "The Roots - Gate of Choas" (it is really worth purchasing)
