My n-gage doomed after changing font on it and it didn't boot up.I took it to some repair centers(not nokia service center) and they said they can't fix it.
Anyone have had a problem like this, and do u got ur n-gage fixed and where?
And how much it costs?

this happened to me before while copying contacts.cdb on a 6600 to a n-gage, upon restarting my fone all i got was contact your retailer.

you can fix the problem flashing your fone, that the only solution i think.

I Got that error once too when i installed a font on my ngage.
I've almost given up finding someone who can repair it but then someone did!!!
The said thay changed a chip or somthing.

I live @ manila "Philippines"
It cost me 2500PHP = 45.45USD

Flashing your phone will NEVER solve your problem...

but it fixed mine...maybe the cause of our problem maybe different since
yours were triggered during replacement of the FONT while mine was
during replacement of the CONTACTS.CDB file.

Try to flash your fone first and if that solves nothin then proceed to the
replacement of the chip.

Yup! It will solve the contacts problem but about the installed font problem, I'm 100% sure that it will never be repaired by flashing :(
