open your flash file with hexeditor, search for *#0000# and change it to other, that's all..
Remember to update the MCU checksum with NFREE after you edit.

Hi,
maybe you're wrong!
I never tried to change *#0000#...but i've read this:
To change the *#0000# code,you must search in hex editor *#0000 (without the last #)

Hiya, each fone is different where info is stored so just open fls in hex and search; edit-find usually, for the "*#0000" without the inverted comma things and see what happens, then simply change this to whatever you want without putting any extra letters in place as this'll bugger it up probably.
Thats for text changing in a hex editor, with picture editing, progs like ppmedit help but if we want to change different pics than available in ppmedit then use nokhex to enter a simple pic then press pic2hex and copy all hex values (besides the 0's) press pic2hex and search for those hex values in flash file and wahey you can change it easily, before ppmedit most people did it this way - but theres another cool prog for looking at pics in the flash called flashview i'll attach it ...

what is so difficult in use of hex editor?
can i ask you, what CAN you do with PC?
my best old good MS-DOS program was easy to write with hex editor.
EA 00 00 FF FF or something.. named it RESET.COM :)
didn't have to reach for reset-button, simply type reset in command prompt or when using 4DOS, it was under F11 or something ;)

No offence litefun i see where your coming from but i for one when starting out with pc's years back when confronted with a hex editor or something new it puzzled me and i had to learn for myself, but now with forums people can ask for help :)
And many people nowadays dont even know DOS - its a shame! :rolleyes:
ok supergdl:
How to use flashview --->
All you do is run the program then click - HELP and KEYS
Its as simple as that - have fun :D
