ok ive had this phone since november which i got for my birthday
at first i thought it was great with all the camera video phone etc
but what lay under all that was a horrible network named three
ive been hunting high and low, left and right, top to bottom.. do you want me to go on? no! lol
well ive now fully repaired my phone(no thanks to the evil spunlock v1.44)(DO NOT USE THAT, IT IS ON THE OTHER NEC UNLOCKING THREAD)
evil spun lock likes to do the following to your phone:
change your IMEI number:
renders your phone unusable on most networks(you can only use your phone on Orange and the 3 Network)
Changes your phone langauge to Japanesse and also deletes the rest of the languages except from english:
you can easily change you langauge by typing in codes at the main screen but you cannot get back the rest of the langauges!
corrupts your contact list and messages
there is no way of getting any of these back!
resets all your settings
this resets some of your setting but you can easily get them back via settings
i could probably go on about more but i wont cause im not sure about the rest
i finally found a program that repaired my IMEI number and reset all the setting on my phone to the FACTORY defaults not spunlocks defaults, also fixed the japanesse option on text messages(when you were typing a message when you unlocked via spunlock it added japanesse langauge to you mode)
i will be making a FULL tutorial on everything you need to know to fully unlock your Nec e616V to its greatest.
for to be able to get the internet you will need a Orange simcard, i got mine from an old seimens A50, i rang up and got GPRS enabled so i was able to access the internet
once you insert your Orange simcard on the main screen type : *#2634#. press the menu button then type: 8443 and press the Edit button, type in this information:
Access Point name:
Orange
APN Address:
orangeinternet
once youve done that press ok, it will say The Setting has Been Made. Check APN 2, now press the C button, and press 12, it will say the setting has been made. Select APN
now turn off your phone and turn it back on. press the button to access the internet, as soon as it shows the loading icon press cancel(the icon looks like a newspaper moving down) and press the "..." button, keep pressing down til you highlight Enter URL and press the blue button. you can now type in the address you wish to go onto for the internet and press OK.
Ive picked up a nice website for compatible java games @ http://blendy.ath.cx/lilith/midlets/ and goto series 60 i think
if you want ringtones and soon working java games goto my site:

i have jamster wallpapers that ive picked up around different forums, some other wallpapers, ringtones, ive got java games up there but they dont seem to work, ill need to ask cooljohng to help me set up them since im able to download games off his website they just come up an error, i have compatible games for the Nec e616V.
will soon have the full tutorial and complete website up and running, if you have ringtones, java games(compatible with nokia series 60) or wallpapers please post them here and i will gladly put them on my website for others to be able to download and have them.
im doing this complete free, if i find anyone selling my tutorial on ebay other than me i will make them die of a horrible death!!!
