3310 spy mode, pls help

Hi just upgraded my 3310 to Krazy Mod 1.05. Everything is perfect except one thing. When in spy mode, when call comes through, the screen light flash for a second (even if I switch off lights earlier). Is this normal, or I'm doing something wrong.

I have a 3310 spy phone ppm file. Is there a simple guide to flashing the phone with it and what cable I need? What extra software do I need?
