nokia 6630 barred

hi, can somebody help me please. i found a nokia 6630 but every sim card i put in it just says sim card registration failed. i think its barred. i don`t know. ive been told if it is it is not worth fixing cos the equipment to fix it costs a fortune. is this true? also i was thinking off selling it on ebay to someone in a different country, if i did would it work for them?

If i had "found" such a new phone, id take it to my local police station as if i lost my 6630 id be VERY pissed indeed!

Chances are its barred yes as all the networks in the UK share the blacklisting database. It should work in another country, id ensure the buyer understands it is barred on all UK networks

hey I can swap it with my nokia 7610, its with all papers and not barred enywhere. I am in Norway, please if you want to swap i am willing to make a deal. I have the box cd usb cable 64 mb rs mmc card.

steps for your phone.
1. you can steal your phone or exchange if diffcult to repair.
2. you can contact your network provider to problem.
3.you can switched call barring from your phone menu.
4. you can applied phone code to address this problem.
5, you can applied hardware application to repair , your phone...
