D500 Flash Problem

Hi

I have just flashed my D500 and have found a problem. Some of my media files e.g. video, sound and music have a size of 0kb and when I try to delete these files it does not delete. Why is this?

this is because you haven't followed very concise flashing instructions.

search the forum for the posts which give good flashing advice since you will need to reflash but also do either a NAND Flash format or a NOR flash erase before you actually start the flashing process...sadly i cant remeber which one it is you need to do, but its definately out there because i have followed that advice from this forum

You will have to flash your phone again but this time remember to format the phone under "NAND" (takes about 15 sec). The whole reason of doing this before flashing your phone is to ensure you don't have
empty 0 kb pictures in your picture maps which you will not be able to delete!!
