Upgrade 8210 to 8250.Please help newbie...

Hai all NFree members...

I've just succesfully upgrade a Nokia 3310 into 3315 and it was my first time.Feel so great.
Now, i'm learning to upgrade a Nokia 8210 into Nokia 8250.
This is all the software i need to do the upgrade(know from from www.liambramwell.com)


8250 MCU+PPM File (v5.04 recommended)
Rolis DCT-3 Flasher 4.78 build 6
Knok Build 22
EEPROM Tools v3.1


I've downloded 8250MCU+PPM File (Version 5.04)as recommended.I also got Rolis DCT-3 Flasher 4.78 build 6
and EEPROM v1.3.

The problems is,i got a KNOK95 and does is same as
Knok Build 22 as shown above?
Please help me on this as i'm scared that is diffrent and may
interupt the upgrading process.
Please,i really need to know as i'm a newbie on this.

For upgrade 8210 to 8250, no need all those tool.

you only need rolis 4.78b6 and nokiatools by rolis. and sure 8250 full flash file or 8250 mcu+ppm and virgin eeprom.

use rolis to flash the 8250 full flash or mcu+ppm to your 8210, and then flash again the 8250 virgin eeprom to your 8210.

after that disconnect your phone from flash cable and connect it with a mbus/data cable to your pc comport. start nokiatools by rolis and follow below step.

1.turn on your phone (should read simcard not accepted)
2.click read phone.
3.copy down the imei number at the back of your phone.
4. fill in the imei you just copy in the imei box.
5.click change imei
6.then click update faid
7.and last clear sp lock.

to elaborate NokiaPhreak's explanation on flashing:

-after you flash the 8250 mcu+ppm you also flash the virgin eeprom (i attached the list of virgin eeproms below) by clicking the 8250 button on the eeprom screen of Rolis (see also attached). The start address should automatically then read "003D0000" then click ok.

-then you follow NokiaPhreak's 1 to 7 instructions.
