Morning guys.
I have a question re lib files of Ngage games.

1stly, I have a 7610, not a ngage (Please don't shout at me or tell me to get one, I have had one, but broke it, bumm3r)

Most ngage games have libs and a system folder.
Do individual games need individual libs. Eg Gamecomms.dll, is the only one that I can think of at the mo, that has diff versions for diff games.

My question is, if you overwrite one games libs, with another, will the initial game not work ???
Thanks :-)

P.S Sorry if this has been asked and answered before.

Tzeonn, thanks for the reply.
Misunderstanding, wasn't requesting anything, just questioning.

Was just curious about the lib files and do individual games have to have the specific libs that come with them to work.

Eg I have two games each that use gamecomms.dll.
If I install game1 with gamecomms1.dll,
then install game2 and overwrite gamecomms1.dll with gamecomms2.dll,
will game1 not work anymore ???

Sounds a bit of mess dunnit. :o

Thanks for your time

well, from wat i know they are still similar files?

else i would replace the smaller one with the bigger one. games still work for me.

My suggestion would be to check datestamps on the files - if the one you are copying is older, don't copy it. If its newer, copy it over. If its the same, don't copy it.

Its tended to work for me, at least. In fact, whilst I haven't got any N-Gage games on my SX1 at the moment, I've kept the libs on there.

I've got too much music on my 512meg card at the moment to put some games on
