This demo is made by third party other than Vampent. Vampent have tried some improvements with this demo. Note: it is only a demo. It is even not playable because of the low speed. It shows that some other groups have tried to make even greater emulators for symbian mobiles.
This demo also illustrates it is quite hard to emulate GBA with full speed in current Symbian hardware environment. However, it CAN emulate GBA with approximately 5 fps on normal S60.


Usage:

SIS package includes only .exe file, so you should use Fexplorer or browser to execute in E:\System\Apps\vBag\vbag.exe. You should put rom file in path E:\System\Apps\vBag\1.gba . Your mobile should have enough memory for loading rom.


Key map:

'1' - A
'4' - B
'2' - Sel
'9' - Start
'7' - L
'8' - R
RightSoft - exit program

its real, only works with 8mb games for me, its played sideways, no sound, 5 fps so not playable but excelente visually with no bugs.

tested with metal slug and others.

Nah all file explorers work.You just have to rename your rom to 1.gba and make sure its in E:\system\apps\vBag\
Also make sure you are using the correct version.

Works on my 6600, but so slow! :(

I tried NFS Undergroun2, WormsWP and SplinterCellPT. Impossible to play. (Like slideshow)

I've tried 2 on my SX1 - Monopoly, which is playable, and R-Type which seems to play fine, albeit slow.

Keymapping is a little strange, but THE wierdest thing is the joystick directions. They have the joystick setup for portrait usage, but the screen is set in landscape. Why???

The hardest work isn't done... The hardest work REMAINS. The reason they made that emu is to show that it's impossible to get a playable GBA emu on todays phones. They don't wanna continue on it because it will always be WAYS too slow no matter how much they optimize it. So theres no point.
