Help unlock nokia 6610i

Hi guys,

How do i go about unlocking my 6610i.

What configuration do i use to unlock this fone.

and tried the same as what you said except that I used V2, as it was the default, and it failed...
is there a reason that you said to use "original", i have few tries left.
Another thing is that i can input the code only when i insert another card, so i had inserted the 2nd card (not the one it came with), and then after being asked for the code, i typed it, and as i wrote, it failed.

And is that fine that still there is a card in the phone? (i've searched and none have replied for that)

I too have this phone. I am just wondering did you guys use the online tool or did you download the application for the code. The reason I ask this is that the online tool doesn't list the 6610i in it's list.

EDIT: just found a version here : http://www.uniquephones.com/unlock.php except I have to pay 1.99 Pounds.

Go to the unlock codes section, download the NokiaFREE calc (I think latest version is 3.10), and if 6610i is not listed, go to Options, check Expert mode, select "DCT4" from the dropdown list of models, and set the parameters described on the previous posts manually.

i have a 6610i as well dated 20.04.05 and v2 has failed for me now i dont want to take any risks so i am wondering which is safer to use "original" or "one" and what is the difference between then. By the way i am in australia and my phone is locked to optus, if anybody has any tips please let me know
